超过6成的英国人承认，看电视和上网需同时进行，他们的眼睛必须要同时观看两个屏幕才能愉悦。

　　Two screens are better than one for modern Britons, with more than half admitting using a laptop or phone at the same time as watching television. In more evidence of how digital technology isdwindling attention spans, a survey found 60 per cent of us regularly watch a show on our sets while simultaneously keeping an eye on something else.

　　Distractions include keeping up with friends on social networking sites such as Facebook, shopping online, or posting comments about the show being watched. Industry marketing body Thinkbox tracked the viewing behaviour of 3,000 adults over two years. It found 60 per cent will go online while watching television at least two or three times a week and 37 per cent will do it every day.

　　据悉，在搭配看电视这道“主菜”的同时，有很多小菜可供“贪心”的人们选择：比如登录社交网交友、评论热播的电视剧或者网上购物等等。电视市场调查公司Thinkbox根据3000名成人为期2年的调查报告称，60%的人每周至少3天可以同时兼顾看电视与上网，而37%的人可以每天兼顾。

　　David Brennan of Thinkbox said: ‘Live TV is benefiting from on-demand TV services and social media.‘The internet has given viewers the ability to catch up with missed shows, to interact in real time via social media, and to even transactwhile watching.’
